• rewrite XMLRequest.py and XMLResponse.py to take generic objects as parameters
  • have the parsers produce these same objects on the other end
• make connection state a global singleton on both ends
  • go thru and replace Constants.XML_NS with a reference to the namespace being used, present in said singleton
