OK, this is an approximation the Glop:

  • 1 bag 15 bean soup mix
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 large red onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 6 or so shallots, minced
  • 2 jalapenos, minced
  • 1 hefty Tbsp. minced garlic
  • A couple hefty tsp. of chili powder, cayenne, and cumin
  • 1 pkg diced ham

I think I'll make basmati later to go with it. And maybe some cornbread.
