In March of 2005, I had emergency surgery removing part of my colon that was blocked with scar tissue from Crohn's Disease. On my second day of recovery, I got a phone call from Mela saying she had something for me from the bbs and could she come up to Boulder to see me. So she did, which is a long drive for her! I got a beautiful basket of chocolates and stuffed monkeys and a really nice card that almost made me cry. My favorite things! Mel also came by my house later during my recovery and brought me the BEST chicken noodle soup. Yum!
Eschwa really is great. I wasn't expecting anything and was totally shocked. It really made me feel like part of a group! So, thank you to everyone who has participated in one of these! It really does make a difference!
