Second Life isn't exactly a game, it's more like the Metaverse in Neal Stephenson's books. It's a giant virtual reality where you can create buildings, objects and other things and then script them to do stuff, or you can just buy objects from other people who've created them if you don't have time or skills to make your own. It has its own economy with a virtual currency that fluctuates against the US dollar and all that shit. Oh, and you own all the rights to whatever you make. Crazy.
