1. cutting calories is important, don't forget to look at that

2. fitday.com is a great resource for seeing the nutritional info of what you put in your body

3. educating yourself about what you eat is important

4. processed food = bad

5. more protein!

6. Exercise always helps. Not only will it burn calories, but it will make you feel better. Even just a brisk 20-minute walk once a day.

7. DRINK WATER! Water is a dieters best friend. Hell, it should be everyone's best friend. Water flushes out your system, it keeps you from being dehydrated, and it has the added benefit of filling your stomach with calorie free liquid, which can help to stave off hunger.

8. Eat regular mealtimes. This helps immensely, get your body on a schedule, whether it be 3 or 5 meals a day.

9. Don't eat late at night, particularly just before you go to bed.
