Turkish Marinade for any meat

Enough for two chicken breast halves or two decent slabs of steak or a pile of lamb chops or a similar amount of fish. Etc.
- One large or two smaller tomatoes
- Good handful of fresh flat leaf (Italian) parsley
- Teaspoon of paprika, hot or mild as you like
- Teaspoon of ground sumac
- A bit of fresh ground pepper and salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- Splash or two of olive oil
Whizz everything together in a food processor or with a stick blender. Put the meat in a bowl or tray and cover with the marinade. Leave it in the fridge overnight.
Grill meat as usual.
Serve with pita, tabouli, garlic yoghurt sauce, rice pilaf, etc.
